Statement from Congressman Jim Cost (CA-21). As a longtime supporter and colleague of Vice President Harris, I am proud to endorse her for President of the United States. She is an effective leader, will stand up for what is right and unite Americans. The Vice President will continue investments in our nations's infrastructure, support working families, focus on job creation and the health care needs of all. More importantly, her candidacy offers our nation hope and a renewed energy for America's future. As a member of the House Foreign Affairs committee, I know our allies around the world are looking for the continued stability of leadership that has brought us closer together in the last four years.

Statement from Congressman Jim Cost (CA-21). President Biden acted, yet again, as our nation's leader when he made one of the bravest and most difficult decisions of his career by putting the interests of the American people first. We need to praise him for his legacy of leadership and long list of accomplishments. In the days ahead the Democratic Party will come together in a united front. Assuring all Americans and our allies that we are the leaders of the free world and recognize our actions, both at home and abroad, reflect up our character.
